I just saw a picture of a AR pistol that didn't have the tube sticking out the back for the recoil spring. So how does it work? If the spring is removed what is stopping the bolt and pushing it back into battery. It looks like it is using the same lower frame. Is it a piston deal? Who makes them? Thanks for any information you can offer.

Could be a Rock River, I think they have a piston pistol that doesn't require a buffer tube

There's always the ZM gas system that Para and a few others used too

Nazgul that is a good looking pistol. It's the type that I was wanting to know how it works. So how does it work? Is it piston operated? I see in the picture the bolt is closed. What is behind the bolt. In short how does it work? Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.

    just north of muncie.
ive had several ar pistols and they all been jammers. ive had a rocky mountain arms, professional ordances and bushmaster. to me a ar ar pistol is a novelty gun. but if i had one i could trust i might change my mind.
