I bought a UTG brass catcher a year or so ago for 15 bucks. It got thrown away in about a hour because It caused a jam every 10 rds.

Now that I'm into 300blk I want to re visit the issue. What do you have that works. I would rather spend 200 bucks for a product that works than spend 15 bucks 20 times for products that dont.

I put some mesh type fabric over the scope on top of my AR as a camo type thing and rather than cut it off, let it just drape down on each side. Put a tie through the middle just to hold it on between the scope and reciever. Other than that it just lays there. All I was thinking at the time was to break up the out line and color while I'm laying in the weeds shooting "stuff".

Dang if every piece of brass wasn't laying right there six inches from the ejection port. Haven't put the brass catcher back on that rifle since. Standing, sitting, off a bench, all the brass hits that netting and just fall out the bottom right at your feet.

Here is teh 3bucc which is a very good system. i also have the flat top mount as well. Had mine since the compay 1st came out as the owners worked at the shop i worked at in Lockport Illinois.

The catcher itself is a fabric bag with hook and loop closers on the end. the basket is a wire structure. very well made. Let me now if you ned hi rez close ups of either.

Is it capable of mounting to a flat top?

Another thumbs up for the 3bucc.
They are well thought out and well made.
I have been using the carry handle and flat top versions.

42769vette the flat top version uses a much smaller (7/8" long) aluminum mount than the carry handle version pictured. The mount will attach to the very forward end of the receiver.
