Anyone use Hodgon 335 for .223 in there 55 grns?

Just looking for a good place to start with some plinking rounds...

Will be used in some standard 55 grn FMJ BT w/c.

Havnt even looked in my recipe book yet, just curious if anyone has worked up a good load...

Yep, use a bunch of it.

Main/most used load=24.8-25.0gr. of H-335 (Or WC844) under a 55gr. projectile, for around 3200fps.

FWIW, Andrew @ ProFire Arms & Supply usually has the WC844 (Military equal to H-335), in 8# jugs, for a VERY GOOD price..

I run that in my PSA Rifle and Carbine+works well. Each to his own, but I run this load with a Wolf .223 Primer...Bill.

Very accurate up to 77 grain hollow points too.
I have a chance to buy an 8lb and don't know if it is overpriced.

my load is 24grs of H335 for 55gr bullets have shot alot and the groups are very good. no issues. Good luck!

I was thinking about switching from Varget (long extruded sticks) to something that might be a more consistent throw. Do you think H335 would be more consistent from a RCBS Uniflow?

Thanks jerk. I looked it up on powder valley too and it's cheaper than Midway. But online you have to pay shipping and hazmat. Thanks for the non-contribution. Looking for avg local prices that people are paying.
