    I'm excited because the July/August issue just came out. I can't think of a handier magazine on the market for survival and disaster preparedness while still being just so darn common sense.

    They have a wood chip stove in the new issue that looks cooler than heck (and believe you me, heck can be pretty cool this time of year).

    I buy it everytime a new issue comes out. I just finished reading the july/august issue cover to cover. I thought the article about bartering was cool.

    Sometimes it's at Barnes and Noble. May be near Backwoods home magazine. Look for a green cover for this issue (different colors each issue). I have found it consistently at Meijer.

    I just found the first issue of New Pioneer at a Rite Aid. I like it but I do have to be honest about some things I don't like. Expensive for a magazine (10 BUCKS!) but it has a lot of good articles. I'm just not sold yet that they are very in depth articles. Seemed to be a lot of rough overview on topics outside of the covor photo topics.
