Looks like I am going to be buying my first real tractor. A ford 340 industrial w/ front end loader. 80's era 47 HP w/ front end loader. BUT its an hour away and I am going to look at it weds and would like the option of bringing it home w/ me instead of driving 2 hours one way to cinci to borrow my dads trailer. I hook you up w/ some mags or something for the favor. I will need to pick it up from you tomorrow and will have it back to you on Thursday.

Let me know if you are able to help me out... If not I will just have to wait a couple of weeks to pick the tractor up.

I'm probably too far north for you.
But an estimated weight might help. Some of these cheaper trailers have to worry about that.

I have a PJ trailer from Mayes that's the cats meow. After seeing the pic, it's not big enough. It's a single axle, 8' bed that I pull behind Jeeps. Good luck!

Have you tried U-Haul or something similar?

Have you thought about a flatbed car hauler. (service wrecker)
They have the tie-downs, insurance and you would not even have to
    be where it's picked up.
Just sit back and drink ice tea until it shows up.

I would think for $100.00 it would be a done deal.

Where is the tractor located? I see you are in Indy, I am up in Fort Wayne, I have a setup that would haul that no problem. I am moving this weekend so if you cant find anyone to do it by next week I could help you then.

Its an hour and a half away from where the tractor needs to be... I don't think 100 dollars will even come close.

the tractor needs to be out by Morristown and am looking at it tomorrow in spencer.

Had a 49 Chevy pick up hauled from South of Greenwood to Kokomo on
a Sunday for $100.00. Might be worth a few calls.
    Just sayin..........

hertz equipment rentals. used them a lot before i broke down and bought my own trailer. another option is to call a local tractor dealer and see how much they charge; did this about once a month when i delivered lawnmowers.
