The wife and I are considering getting into the polymer 9mm game, and we both really like the feel of the Walther PPQ. Is there anyone in the area that would let us try shooting one? I can provide ammo, and a place to shoot. Would be willing to cover gas money, or some additional ammo for your time.

I wish that I were closer to allow you both to shoot mine.

I can tell you that of all my pistols, everyone in my family and friend circles would rather shoot my PPQ than any of my other pistols, which include M&P's, 1911's, XDm's, CZ clones and various revolvers. The one universal constant with the PPQ is that everyone seems to shoot better with it than the others no matter what training level... It's Walther voodoo!

It's a great gun. I loved the one I had.
sold it to get into the 1911 game, but it was a great gun.
    I would buy one again.
    crazy accurate too.

I have one n will tell you its way better then any cheap skimpy Glock. Trigger is smooth as silk, it can use a glock front sight if on a budget after u buy 2. Uses all the same internal parts as its predecessor. Very accurate pistol w tight groupings. Take my word you wont go wrong. I would say upgrading to a steel guide rod wont hurt.

Ergonomics, this started when they brought out the predecessor 20 years ago, first ergonomic pistol w interchangeable back straps.
