Just as the title says, I need something for rent in Franklin.

Apartment, house, condo - what ever.

Just as long as its not "income based" housing.

Oh and if you are looking to buy and don't mind the long wait, Franklin has a decent amount of HUD homes, especially in the newer community on the southside across from the cemetary

Looked at some of those last year...nice neighborhood. Ridiculously overpriced for ones that weren't HUD though.

I don’t remember hud’s website off hand, but that’s how I bought my house. There seems to be a lot of housing communities on the west side of Franklin, Behind Kroger there is a rather large one. Some peoples have been buying up several of either the huds or the sheriff auctions and turning them into lease to own.
Some of the smaller ranches are going fairly cheap. Somewhere in the range of $50,000. They are appox. 1000 sqft 2 bedroom with a garage. They were built within the last 10 years.
