Anyone have a thought on where I can sell this? It has some modernish traits to the construction but seems older. Was on the fireplace when we moved in. I haven't found antique shops interested yet.
Have you tried Colonial Antiques on 96th Street, NorthWest side of Indpls, behind Bill Estes Chevrolet? They seem to be the place to go for things like that...
Also might try a couple builders to see what they think. Someone like DLS who does lots of remodeling work in the Zionsville area might be interested. Don't know.
I sent PMs with the same text to the three who are interested in more info. I wasn't intending to make a classified post in the break room but am pleased there's some interest.
Dimensions are fairly close.
the rear cube formed (firebox?) is 45 3/4" wide, 47" tall, 7 3/4" deep.
front facade is 41.5" wide, 43" tall.
Whole structure is 76" tall at the peak and 61" wide.
Here are two pics before we took it down. The lights were hung on the wall and were sold to an antiques guy who lied about how much $$ was in his wallet. I should have cancelled the deal but I failed at negotiating 101
Ok, I have made no efforts to sell this and need to get it gone. I'm in Greenwood and don't have a trailer but can help load it onto yours. Looking for $400 firm now.
