By not speaking up when the government sets the precedent of regulating magazine capacity, they can keep lowering to whatever they choose to.

First it's "nobody needs a 33 round magazine, 10 is enough"
next it's "5 is enough"
Then "1 is too many".

REGARDLESS of whether we as individuals want a high capacity magazine or not,

Just to put this into perspective. Here in the UK we have no 2nd ammendment. To own any firearm you have to apply for a "certificate" that is only issued after extensive "checks". You cannot own a gun for the purpose of defense.
But, believe it or not, you can have a magazine as big as you like !!
Just shows how scatter-brained our rulers are... they don't know the ar5es from their elbows.

Why? Because that wouldn't allow her to get back at the eeeeeeevil gun that jumped up and killed her husband years ago. It can't be the fault of a single person who committed a crime, and she doesn't get (or care about) the fact that she could ban every gun ever created and even if she was to get rid of every single one, it wouldn't give him one more second on this planet. For that matter, neither would punishing the criminal, but at least that would be a more appropriate response, holding an individual responsible for his actions.
