I am tempted to buy one of these blades for a knife project. Any owners out there that can tell me what kind of quality these blades are?

This Karambit was made with Alabama damascus. Of course the end result will depend a great deal on how you treat the steel when making the blade and the heat treat you do but this knife takes a great edge and retains it very well.

I know that Kershaw uses some of the Alabama Damascus stuff in some of their knives.

At least that's what I've read on the 'web... (The Kershaw Skyline damascus is a SWEET looking knife...)
