Hello INGO,

I have a refinished wood stock set off of a WASR AK.

Stock and upper and lower handguard.
Stock has trap door butt plate. Screws included.
Upper handguard has small split in the wood, very minor, not a structural problem.
I reinforced it for good measure with a little resin on the inside.

I removed the old finish, sanded to blend and smooth then
applied a little darker than standard stain and applied 4 coats of tung oil to finish.
Very smooth compared to the usual laminate offerings.
