I got a friend that has asked me to help them set up a computer and choose an ISP near Waynetown, IN. AT&T does not provide DSL there but may offer satellite high speed.

I'm not sure what to recommend to them. When I was on dial up I used tctc which was bought out by TDS.

If you have service in the boonies or know about it, I'd appreciate your input.

i have bridgemax, if there were any other option i would tell bridgemax where they can stick there service. its down extreamly often and on slow speed over 1/2 the time. somtimes its great. customer service is a joke. basically they are trained to say "it must be somthing in your house".

if you have any options what so ever they are better than bridgemaxx

Thanks for the input. Somebody told him he had to have dial up and he's already had a second phone line installed. I'm still looking into the aircard thing.

Bump to see if there are any other suggestions.
