These took a lot longer to upload than I expected....sorry for the delay.

Thanks for those of you that showed up. We put some serious lead downrange:D:ar15:

All targets were 3/8" AR500 provided by Bobcat Steel, and pierce195 was kind enough to host the event at the local FOP and even brought his MP5.:rockwoot:

Things we learned from the event:
3/8" AR500 will take 8mm rounds at 30yds:rolleyes: (not recommended)
Shotgunss are fun as hell to shoot at steel
    MP5s still rock

If you have your own vids or pics from the event, please post em up!

For those of you unable to attend, please keep your eye in the Event section for a demo near you. If you have a venue that could host and you are interested in having Bobcat Steel bring some targets out, please contact me and we will set something up!!

This was a great event. I have to say the steel can take a crap load of rounds and still look new with a little paint.

I had a great time shoot all the targets and picked up a couple targets of my own.

If you haven't been to a steel event yet make sure you make it out.

Got any pics of the Steel after the abuse? :ingo:

When the boss man says jump...;)

All of the pics are of the target that took the most abuse. 66% IPSC. We were 60-65 yrds (100+ is ideal). 5.56, 7.62, 8mm, etc were the ammo of choice at this event.

Most steel target mfgs put a 100 yd minimum range for any centerfire rifle round. There's a big risk of jacket riccochet at less than that (I have a scar to proove it, too). And, the pock marks in the steel aren't worth it. Those marks increase riccochets at safe distances.
