I'd venture to guess that 1. He forgot about the incident the first time someone cut in front of him in line at the grocery store later that day. or 2. His 22 yr old Dallas Cowboy cheerleader girl-friend diverted his attention as he ranted to her about the guy he ran into at the gun-store, and when he recovered from her 'treatment' all he wanted to do was take a nap.
