I saw that tearjerker on FB this AM. Hits close to home, having an old dog who is becoming more frail and unsteady. It's a good one, though.

I've had dogs around for more than 25 years. I hate this part. But everything before is pure joy.

We've said goodbye to two wonderful Huskies, both lived to be 14+ years old. We still have 3 dogs, a Husky/Golden mix who's 14, a Husky aged 9, and a Husky/German Shepherd mix 4 years old I think...

Reading this takes me back to the day we said goodbye to the first two but more so, reminds me how much joy they brought us and vice-versa. The pain of saying goodbye is far surpassed by the happy years together.

Love your family and your pets like there's no tomorrow because someday, there won't be a tomorrow.

Awe, look at that mug. She is a beautiful gal. I have a soft spot for golden's. I had to put my 14 1/2 year old down about 3 1/2 years ago. I miss the old guy so much. I really want another golden or a golden mixed mutt. Mine was a golden/chow mix. Just awesome dogs. It will be a sad day for you for sure ,
