We've said goodbye to two wonderful Huskies, both lived to be 14+ years old. We still have 3 dogs, a Husky/Golden mix who's 14, a Husky aged 9, and a Husky/German Shepherd mix 4 years old I think...

Reading this takes me back to the day we said goodbye to the first two but more so, reminds me how much joy they brought us and vice-versa. The pain of saying goodbye is far surpassed by the happy years together.

Love your family and your pets like there's no tomorrow because someday, there won't be a tomorrow.

Dammit. I just want to say, that this is not easy with my June walking the very fine line of needing to go on her everlasting walk.

Awe, look at that mug. She is a beautiful gal. I have a soft spot for golden's. I had to put my 14 1/2 year old down about 3 1/2 years ago. I miss the old guy so much. I really want another golden or a golden mixed mutt. Mine was a golden/chow mix. Just awesome dogs. It will be a sad day for you for sure ,:(

And here I thought my spring time allergies were clearing up. Must be the dust from the straw they are baling down the road that got in my eyes just now.
