So I have a stripped ar PISTOL lower and am thinking of putting a 16 inch 6.8 Spc upper on for deer hunting this year.

anyone done this yet? thoughts? Comments?

Is the 6.8 have a diameter larger than a 357 or 38? I thought there was min diameter for pistols. Yet I know that a 45 acp is not legal

I have A TC Contender 14in barrel in 6.8 super accurate, light recoil. I have shot two does over 100yds. Both drop in their tracks.
    100yds +2in, 200yds -2in, 300yd -8in

Sorry Bert, I could not remember the regs and had trouble accessing the dnr site. Good to know you never say or write anything that is not accurate

    good of you to notice

Ok I'm trying not to get into this whether or not its legal talk....
if you look at regulations for rifles we all know that there is a minimum diameters or rifles, I'm talking about building a ar pistol to supplement my 450 bushmaster deer slaying toy..... This is NOT a rifle!

does anyone one have any other experience with the 6.8 or 300 blackout for this purpose in a pistol?
