Hats off to Saltzman Gunworks. Outstanding attention to detail and Id put the accuracy up against any other builder out there.

That thing looks awesome! My buddy uses the same scope on his 700 .308. I love that optic, such performance for the price. I'll have to show him this thread, as he's contemplating converting it to 6.5 creedmoor.

FireArmorer...Love Vortex's features for the price. Plus they take care of Military and Police for 35% off MSRP. Hard to beat their warranty as well. Id recommend a Bartlein for your buds 308. You can find them online, outside of Bartlein for next day shipping. Highly recommend the 5r 1:11.25 for 168s, they are giving me .3 inch 5 round groups out of Hornady TAP (another Saltzman Build). Hit me up PM if he has questions, etc.

Very nice! I too have a 6.5 creedmoor build that is fairly new (have 100 rnd through it). I'll be interested in seeing what kind of load you get for this and MV. What projectile are you planning to shoot?

That's a T4A, but what's one number when talking about a nice lookin' custom?

You'll be almost certain to find your load between 42.0-43.0gr of H4350 with a 139-142gr bullet; I had a 26" 6.5 Creed and got 2823fps with a 140gr Hornady HPBT over 42.5gr H4350, 2775fps with 41.5gr H4350 (mild "factory load" recipe which shot quite well for a safe/fast 'throw together' load).

I had Issac Frank chop the barrel down to 18" and the same 140/42.5gr load gives me 2640fps.

I'm kind of surprised that you were getting over 2800 fps with 42.5 gr h4350, I'm getting 2776 out of my 26" with 42.7 gr h4350. I am shooting the 142 SMK's.
