Anyone ever use this stuff? I saw it in a SOG catalog. It's new production ammo, 230g copper-coated. I was thinking about picking some up and trying it out but wasn't sure if anyone else had already done this. Cost is 12.95/50 or 500rd for 125.00 Seems pretty good for practice ammo.
I've never used this ammo but have had the misfortune of trying to reload the brass in 45ACP. It's terrible... inconsistent lengths and I had a case-head separation.
Nope have not used those. Your Price sounds good.. I have used CCI/Blazer Brass .45 ACP 230gr FMJ purchased at Walmart for 12.95/50. They worked great!
Avoid A-MERC like the plague. High incidence of misfires and inconsisent bullet seating in the 9mm stuff I shot several years ago. Brass was so soft I had case necks splitting after one reloading.
Amerc stuff is the pits
I purchased 1000 rds 4 yrs ago had no problems with the exception it was DIRTY ammo
Bought another 1000 rds the problems started
I had primers falling out when My 1911 45 cycled
I called them they said ship it back I said no way Im carrying 1000 rds to fed ex / ups
She took my name and address I came home from work a week later and found another 250 rds on my front porch step
and guess what the primers fell out of a lot of these rds also
plus you cant get them to feed thru your reloader
