I recently moved (still in indiana) and haven't changed my address at the bmv or post office yet(my mom now resides at my old place and i trust packages/mail being sent to her rather than sitting on my doorstep in town). I have however written the state police for my address change on my ltch. My question is when i go to purchase my next firearm in a few weeks which address should i put down, the one on my license and that the post office has on record or my new one that the statepolice have. Or can i not put down an address different than what is on my drivers license? Figured i would ask here rather than find out first hand at the gunshop counter. Thanks in advance ol' wisemen of INGO.

Thanks for the info fellas. I just wasn't sure if the NICS check would cross reference with the state police or something of that nature.
