I'm new to the forum and new to a 308. I recently purchased a Panther LR-308 AP4. Now I need to find out where is the best place to purchase ammo. What do you recommend?

First welcome to the forum. Next you ask a very good question. 380 is in short supply and has been for a long time. I have had luck locally at gun shops and Walmart, both usually have a limit. Online sources seem to always be out of stock. You might try the Indy 1500 gun show. There is one next month (March 19,20,21) at the fair grounds.

Whoa I messed up OP asked about 308 not 380. I must have 380 on the brain.

308 is not in as short supply as 380. I have found 308 everywhere to include Meijer in Avon.

http://www.ammoengine.com/ is a good source to find any type of ammo.
