Well, I got my suppressor and I'm ready to start reloading 300blk subsonic. I have a Noveske 8.2" barrel and I'll be using an AAC 762 SDN 6 suppressor.

Please share your 300blk subsonic loads.

    Thanks
    Doug

9 - 9.4 of H110 behind a 220 gr Sierra match king. I don't remember the OAL though. there were a couple quieter powders but H110 was not bad and it had the best accuracy

Almost all the reloaders that I've talked about 300 blackout with seem to prefer H110. I don't shoot that caliber, so I can't comment directly

Allan's load is pretty good. I've used something close with the 208 Amax as well. I've also played around with IMR 4198 behind some slightly lighter projectiles. I have a load at around 11 grains that shoots a 180gr lead round nose bullet designed for the 30-30. I need to tweak that still a bit, as I'm boarderline at times cracking supersonic. If I drop down too much I have some cycling issues. I have found that seating depth on the < 200 gr sub loads makes a big difference.

I've read that some people were successful on other forums, but anybody hear succeed in a subsonic load that will cycle an AR, but with a 150gr bullet?

Also curious how much tinkering people have done with 4198?

A buddy has gotten pretty close in a 16" AR with carbine gas system. I can't get one to work with my 9.5" w/ Pistol length gas. We've been trying to get a load with M80 pull down bullets since they are so cheap. Once it warms up we'll probably work on it again some more. He's been using some Vita Vori powders to see if he can find something that will work.

I've done some tinkering with 4198 as mentioned above. I think I'll be able to get it to work. As it is a stick powder it seems to be very finicky to charge and seat depth. I've had a few loads that result in a lot of unburned or partially burned powder coming back into the action during extraction.

Just curious, I have a decent amount of 150gr and lighter bullets than 200, and have some 4198 that I just use as a blasting load for 556 (doesn't meter worth a shat through my Dillon).

So, thought I might be able to combine the 2...
