    YouTube - Shooting the 3-Barrel Rapid-Fire Pole Cannon!

    This thing is NUTS. They start off shooting blanks in this and then do some real range firing. I would love to OC one of these puppies.

    Anyone know anything about this or seen anything like it ever? They say it is from the 15th century but I don't know how they are verifying this.

    Probably not 15th century as percussion caps weren't invented until the 1820s'. These types of arms are know as "gones" aka guns and this is a pole variety. If it is an original piece some one ruined its value by installing the musket nipples. An original would have been fired by a "match".

    Hard to tell, though... Many older "things" were converted to allow percussion caps once they were common-place.
