It should not be this hard to find 1 box of decent priced 22lr. I would just like to take my 10/22 out for a range outing or two :xmad: :xmad: :xmad:. Sorry fellas just had to do a little venting!

I was at Bud's Gun Shop in Lexington, KY a few weeks ago and they had cases of CCI Mini-Mags on the shelf at $12 for 100 rounds. Kinda high, but if you're only buying one and are hot to shoot it up, maybe it's worth looking into. Sorry, but that's all I've got. :dunno:

Use Gun Bot (see the "get your ammo here" sticky for this sub-forum. I found a 5000 round bulk box for 375 at Lucky Gunner that way.

I've got 50 cal cans with 5000 rounds of 22 that I've got less than $125 in.

I hear ya, but I hate to dig into the ammo cache since it can't be replaced anymore. I started buying the Fed 550 bulk packs at about $8.97, then $9.95, then $11.97 etc until they were $19.97 and I continued to buy them ...

The last .22 I picked up was (2) 1000 packs of the Win AR22 at $49.95 ea. and I hated to pay that price too.... Even that seems almost reasonable now !!!

I would love to find some of those .50 cal cans somewhere. My daughters love to shoot the 22. I didn't see the warning signs and didn't stock up. Down to a couple hundred rounds. Looking frantically at the wally worlds and Big R to see if I can score. Don't really have to have them, but would like to keep the girls in a good rhythm of shooting, muscle memory and aim as such.

I try an stop by my local WM atleast once a day, and have yet to see any 22lr of any kind. I just hope the crazyness over the 22lr will calm down. My GF like shooting the 22's an Id like to keep her going to tthe range as well as myself. But I refuse to pay those retarted prices for 22lr.

I'm in this boat too. Got my son his first .22 for Christmas and have no ammo for him yet.

Hopefully things will get back to normal (or at least near normal) so he won't have to sell his kidney for a box of shells.

I have a 'brick' from back in the 80s I am still shooting lol. I don't shoot much .22LR as I don't care for .22 much. I bought a SAA .22LR plinkerton last year and am shooting it more these days. My old .22 my dad bought me in the 80s (for 65 bucks lol for a semi auto Marlin 60) hasn't had more than 100 rounds put through it in the last 15 yrs.

When things settle down I'll start picking up a brick here and there just in case, though. Never thought finding 22lr would be a problem.
