I am not, repeat not, starting a pops gun thread about whether its good or bad. I am taking a first time shooter there with a .22LR. what ammo is acceptable there? cci minimags are prefered for me but will they work there with their 'brass cased only' rule? thanks in advance.

I've never seen aluminum or steel cased rimfire ammo - even when I used to buy Blazer .22 for $.69 a box, it was brass cased.

    You'll have no issue.

Mini Mags have a brass case. You might be thinking of CCI Stingers, which are nickel plated brass.

minimags are brassed case so it shouldnt be a problem they dont want any aluminum or steel cased ammo such as wolf or blazer, which can tear up a auto anyway.
Really? Guess I better throw all of my AR's and Glocks in the trash that have had thousands upon thousands of steel cased rounds through them.

But will they have the same life cycle if they didn't have thousands and thousands of steel through them? I think that's the real question.
