Four Boston butts for a cook out tonight. I found that dough hooks on a hand mixer do a great job of pulling pork. 10-15 minutes and no hot hands.

This was a few months back for work. Myself and 3 coworkers stayed all night smoking 8 butts. I have smoked alot of meat at the house but nothing on this level. Naturally as soon as we lit the thing it started raining. We had to move everything inside. The shop never smelled so good. First time drinking at work, my boss bought so I assumed it was cool. It was a good time had by all.

Summer's over but the grillin' ain't

Burgers were on the menu tonight...
1/3 lb Angus, grilled onion, apple wood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar cheeseburgers on grill toasted seeded buns. Best I ever made. :rockwoot:

I always forget to take pics. Did rotisserie chicken on the grill last weekend, and ribeye/asparagus this past weekend. Nothing to look at though really. Tasted great!
I need to clean my grill for winter, and I fear I waited too long... maybe we'll get a warm day here soon. I do like the stainless steel... makes pressure washing easy peasy!

I don't get mad at my wife too often, but when I do it's because I watch her microwave a perfectly cooked filet mignon..... someday she will come around .... I ran out of potatoes so I only got two baby ones as I gave them to my wife and kids :(

Similar, but NY strip instead of fillet. Did you sous vide yours?

Had eye of round on sale at Meijers. Threw it in the smoker right after lighting it and it got maybe 3-3.5hrs of smoke. Reverse seared it and final IT of 129. Bout to go slice it.

    Not grillin' but still tasty...
Some spicy beef jerky using a twist on the usual recipe to include jalapeno spice (instead of habanero) this time around...
about 15 mins from being dried/done

Got a pork loin resting right now for Christmas with my wife's extended family. Looks good, hopefully it tastes alright.

I'll fix it when I get home, phone issue

Merry christmas to me... can't wait to try this thing out. I've heard about them, but never saw one in action until friday when they did a 12lb turkey for lunch in about 2 hrs!
First test will be next weekend, if I can hold off that long

i have a wood/charcoal offset horizontal Brinkmann, 2 Traeger pellets, an electric box smoker(that is only used as a holding oven), and a Big Green Egg. Still haven't decided which makes the best product? The Traeger's and Egg are WAAAAAY easier to regulate temp, but the Brinkmann is my baby, 14 years and still going!

I love my BGE but the best Q I've ever made came out of the Brinkman offset I used to have.

Robby, congrats on the fryer, I've heard of these, I've heard very good things about these. I have not been able to find one, would you care to share the point of purchase.

    Thanx, and Merry Christmas
