I will be working with a new shoulder and hope for the first time in 5 years I will be pain free when holding a gun in the firing position, weak hand will be a real challenge. I want to be able to still compete with shooters 1/2 my age. I will be putting in more training on accuracy not speed.

    Have a blast!
    Get better at everything!
Shoot every major match that I possibly can!
Shoot every local match when I'm not doing the above
live fire practice twice a week.
I don't have a classification goal this year...whatever I make thats fine. I just want to shoot matches like a GM. Classification will follow.

I will shoot at least 1 maybe 2 classification matches this year. My only goal is that the average moves up. Even if it's just a few tenths of a point.

My plan is to be proficient shooting with my new .308 Ryder American Rifle. I hope to be able to reach out to 1000 yards accurately when I am finished. Not looking to compete with anyone but myself in this though. Also looking to continue practicing my self defense shooting skills, draw, fire and accuracy as I have been doing for the past five years since moving out of IL to a place I was trusted enough to carry a loaded firearm by my government

Planned / Desired training for the year includes:
    1) The USPSA RO course in Feb to help me become a better RO / Director for my club's Steel Valley matches this summer.
    2) NRA Range Safety Officer certification to bolster my knowledge in maintaining a safe range.
    3) NRA Handgun Trainer certification to have the "paper" to backup what I've been doing for friends and family these last few years.
    4) Wanting to attend an Appleseed (held at my local club, near Nashville)

As long as no one from indy trading post is involved I think Killion is golden.

    My 2014 goals......

    1. Double the amount of shooting I did in 2013
    2. Attend the USPSA RO course and become more involved in matches (help setup, teardown, RO, score, etc)
    3. Attempt to bring in a new shooter or two from my pool of shooting buddies that tell me how easy competition shooting would be
    4. Take a couple of organized personal training sessions
    5. Shoot as many matches as I can this year (hopefully about 20 uspsa and 8-10 steel)
    6. Become more competitive and get classified in open this year!!!!
