Thought I would toss it out here... Other forums no help so far. Thought there might be some repair guys on here.

My Son has a F250 with a dead radio display. He replaced the radio and still no display. Guessing the dash light wire has no power. I am good with electronics, but not sure where the dash light feed comes from. He said the fuses all look good. Anyone know where to find the wiring diagram for a F250 power stroke?

Possible the dimmer knob is turned down or a drl sensor is blocked making it thinknit is night time?

Just thoughts, simple things to double check.

I remembered this from a Ford forum I was on. Hope it helps
I think he had the pin outs, maybe not the colors?? But that helps. It is the stereo dimmer wire is not making the display bright. Not sure where the wire is directly coming from to check that spot. Some kind of module???

We were thinking of just jumping it hot. But I am more of a fix it guy rather that a patch.

An idea, but all the other lights (dash and panel) are bright.

Also this radio is dead dark. If he would disconnect battery to work on truck, it was almost impossible to set the radio stations.

I appreciate it... No rush, he has been messing with it for a few months.

Trying to hunt down that wire. Not sure if it comes from a module or fuse or??
