This rifle is a Remington, it started as a receiver. I wanted a project
1903A4 clone project and this is what I have. It is a new milspec surplus barrel, that was gauged and assembled by a gunsmith, who also checked out the receiver. The stock is a Boyd's repro, and all of the other parts are milspec that I collected over the past year or more. I've put about 150 surplus rounds through it and just about 50 match rounds down it for groupings, it does do MOA or less if you do your part.

Is this one of the older recievers that cannot handle full power ammo or is it one of the ones w/ the better heat treats? Could you post the first half of the serial number?
