1873 US Springfield Trapdoor collectors!

I just acquired a model 1873 U.S. Springfield .45-70, its all original with 273xxx serial no's. It's in really good shape and still fires perfect! I will post pics later. I have a box of 20 rounds with it. Does anyone know what its worth and if it is a rare piece?

Condition means alot. I see them sell from $600 on up. Most are close to a thousand in good shape
