+1 Marion (City) Police Department

I got a call earlier this week from a Detective in the Police Department asking for some information before the CLEO signed off.

Detective asked about the Noveske lower I was submitting for my SBR build. Asked about my plan, and said his SWAT weapon was a Noveske upper and talked about how great it shot and commented how well he liked his Noveske flash suppressor. A few minutes later got a call back...paperwork ready to pick up.

I was nervous about this process and his call made that all go away. If you're nervous about it and not sure if you should do it or not, I hope you'll have the experience I had.

Now the WAIT and hope I filled everything out right.

Had similar experience with St. Joseph Sheriffs office. The Sheriff wanted his detective to meet/speak with me before sigh-off. I was nervous and a bit pissed off as it seemed as BS. We met at my house and the guy seemed pretty cool, we chatted about guns for a bit and he left. Next day got a call to come pick up the signed paperwork.

I guess some CLEOs are a bit nervous on signing these and they want to make sure you are not some wacko.

Allen county is great too. Beware when the sheriff asks what gift you brought him though.
