Dear Reloaders,
We are a youth shooting program. We have partnered with Berger Bullets to fund raise. We will be placing an order tomorrow and are able to do so twice a year. The bullets will sell for $20/100. Our non profit youth shooting program will make $5 per box. Please note, this...
I just got my first reloader sat. I am looking forward to learning alot. just not sure if there is a difference in powder? I will be reloading pistol rounds mostly?
Please split out Ammo and Reloading into separate sub forums. There is enough interest in both that they will get enough traffic to stand on there own, and those interested in reloading rarely are interested in purchasing ammo. The two subjects are different enough that the other is irritating...
I just cracked open a new box of Remington UMC .38 special fmj 130 gr. As I was putting the rounds in a plastic box holder, I noticed that these cartridges were longer than the Winchester cartridges that were already in the box. The Winchester cartridges were from the Winchester white box, .38...
Just looking for a good place to start with some plinking rounds...
Will be used in some standard 55 grn FMJ BT w/c.
Havnt even looked in my recipe book yet, just curious if anyone has worked up a good load...
Having trouble finding it? Neat video I found of re-purposing downrange lead. Just remember the lead inside FMJ is often softer than what you use for running lead in semi-autos.

I stumbled across the website "55project.com" which has a significant collection of information on the Lyman 55 powder measure. Plenty of photographs, design details, catalogs, dating information.
Thought someone might enjoy reading.
So I have been having some powder spills while loading rifle rounds. I am using Hornaday's wax lube. I can see that the powder is jamming at the mouth and it seems I'm getting lube inside the neck. I am using a full length sizer die. Should I only be lubing the shoulders on the case? Or should I...
How many folks that visit these pages would like to see "Ammunition" and "Reloading" broken up into two different forums?
I'm so sick of the "buy ammo now!" threads that I'm ready to stop coming to INGO altogether.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the various factors in casting and loading lead. I've heard the quick formula: "Take the hardness of an alloy, add two to the number, put two zeros on that, and you will have the approximate range you can shoot velocity wise." I average 875fps with 124gr PBRN...
I didn't see any but probably not doing a good search. I am looking for an inexpensive but reliable load setup of 7.62x39 for an AK. I just got started relaoding any a friend would like to reload some AK ammo when I am not using the press. Can someone point me to a standard setup please?
I am trying to reload 223 Remington for the first time. I have made it to the bullet seating step-I am using the Lee Bullet Seating Die (see pictures). The brass is Frontier 223 REM, the bullet is a Hornady 55 grain FMJBT. The Hodgdon Basic Reloading Manual says that for a 55 GR SPR SP (no info...
My reloading table is somewhat low, so a long time ago I had ordered a strong mount for my Dillon Square deal press. The strong mount gave me the height I needed and It works just fine.
Anyway I recently ordered a RL550 press from Dillon, while ordering I figured I would get a Strong mount...
