Price Dropped!
I have for sale some Extreme Cold Weather Boots. They are Fire resistant, Water Repellent, and Weather Resistant. They are size large and in new condition. They fit over my combat boots and shoes pretty well. I wear a size 9.5 but there is room to spear in either direction...
Lets make a list of final preparations that we are making when you have 24 hours notice for a massive blizzard. This list will be generally geared toward those who already are in the prepping mindset.
I'll throw a few out there.
Make sure you have plenty of batteries on hand.
Top off all of...
Short version of this post:
Possibility of PW4 in February.
Possibility of cold-weather CQC training class with HandK.
Got me thinking about working my weapon with my winter gloves on.
(This has nothing to do with using a bigger gun for winter and smaller for summer.)
Does anybody else...
I'm running very low on storage space in my house and want to know your thoughts on storing guns in an unheated garage. The garage is attached to the house however the garage door and the exterior wall are not insulated at all. So what do you all think? Thanks

In Chicago, it is the law apparently, that you must clear your sidewalk of snow within a given time.
I heard it being discussed on the radio this morning. This is the best article I can find for now.
Anyone ever wonder why when there's a forcast for snow there's a mad rush to store and all the milk and bread is being hoarded??? Do people eat more milk and toast when it snows? :dunno:
I received these great photo's in an Email from a buddy today. Never knew of this event even happening! :dunno:
Enjoy the frozen images of 1911.

If I keep a loaded pistol in a locked box under the seat of my car in extremely cold temps, will/does it have any effect/affect on the guns reliablity, accuracy, functionablity, or anything else that you could think of? Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with guns in extreme temps?
With winter fast approaching, and temperatures dropping, I thought now would be a good time to list items that we should have in a winter car kit. I'll start, and others can add on.
Hats
Gloves
Extra set of clothes
Snow boots
Snow shovel
Blankets
Matches
Lighter
Emergency Candles
Food (think...
The only "disaster" situation I've experienced was an ice storm a few years ago. I (and the whole town) had no power for approximately three days. That meant no stores were open, no restaurants, and no way to cook food at home. I thought maybe it would be helpful to share what I learned during...
