I'd like to see someone break a Mk23, that would be a chore in itself. I've suppressed one with an Osprey and it was fine. The only issue is the Mk23 is a 16x1RH thread, the only one on the market as far as I know. You'd need to get other pistons for the B&T or KAC, but they're going to be...
I just looked and both Grafs and Midsouth have a good bit of Hodgdon (and other) powders in stock. Some of the big types are out of stock but there's something for everyone.
I have (2) bottles of HP-38 & (4) bottles of Win 231. Kept in climate controlled storage. Just don't use these powders. $35 each, meet between Trafalgar and Nashville. Perhaps Bloomington if you take all of them. I'm also in South Greenwood / Brownburg on Wednesdays.
May want to look at Rugged Obsidian 45 over the AAC. Customer service is much easier to deal with, and I also got to meet the owner and his designers in person, and they're all really cool guys.
I've been chatting with the ATF regarding being able to ship approved suppressors to your door. There are a few hoops to jump through but it's definitely an upcoming option.
Once I get all my ducks in a row, everyone will know. :-)
Chiming in.... why would that be a bad idea? I have personal experience with plated, Hi-tek, coated and Alox. It's not the bullet, its the powder (and more so, the loader and their knowledge of loading). All these bullets are fine through a suppressor.
There are solutions you can soak your...

For what it's worth - I've sent a number of unanswered PMs to the seller, so who knows.
I also appreciate all the PM's and phone texts about availability. I'd offer individual thanks but but I don't need to call all of you out. :-)
Originally, the fire at ADI in Australia cut the production of TB in @2018. IMR sold the licensing to Hodgdon in 2015-2016, but after the plant burnt, it's been off the market.
I'm not hopeful for the re-release.
It’s the only powder to use to fill the case for 30-30 subs, 45-70 subs, 308 subs, etc. Old school powder for old school loads.
It’s my go-to and I’m too old to change. Wish they’d fix that Australian powder plant.
