First post: Switch Ballistol to FrogLube?

It's not even necessarily doing a complete changeover, I am just more or less wondering if anyone on here has used froglube, their thoughts, and if its worth switching to

First post: Switch Ballistol to FrogLube?

Hey there INGO users! I'm a new member and I figured I'd use the oppertunity to ask a question I have had on my mind for awhile now. I am a huge fan of Ballistol. I have always got great results from Ballistol and this far have nothing to complain about. The other day a friend Brought up...

      When did this start?

Their policy is that if you look 40 years or younger they are required to see ID. Some places like my old work required everyone to see ID for ammo, alcohol and even cigarettes. So it's 'normal' policy to ask unless you are a regular and they know you personally.

      gun restoration

My uncle owned an original 1892 French revolver. I looked up what was the best thing to do and after talking to professionals, they said to oil it, but don't restore it. The value is left in its age. I wouldn't oppose going over it with a high grit sandpaper (3000) but I would in no shape change...

      9mm subcompact suggestions

I agree. My sig p229 would be perfect for you. My friends' Walthers, XDs, and Glocks have more muzzle flip personally. But I also have large hands and arms and I have a more solid feel with my metal sig over the polymer handguns. I give too much hand/arm play with polymers cause I don't expect...

Why doesn't Indiana have ad's like this?

Personally I am a demo., but I still find this ad entertaining. I completely understand people getting up in arms over the ad, reason being that you're calling someone with an opposing view shouldn't be called a retard. Being called stupid because of political views isnt nice. Lol. I don't care...

      Hydrodipping or Duracoat

Duracoat in my opinion sounds easier and from friends have proven to be rugged.

      Opinion on a Sig

I own and carry a p229. Although its heavy, I have a crossbreed holster that is amazing. As far as other alternatives, a p238 or p938 would work great for you too. Go to a gun shop and see what models they have and give them a feel. I'd just do some online research and make your decision then...

      Ever dropped a gun?

Of all terrible things, my carry handgun has taken a spill just a couple months back. I was getting off of work and my mother had just got a job where I was working. We both got off at the same time and I was taking her home that day. I usually leave my gun inside my truck where it'd be near...
