My mosin 91/30 shooting 12" groups at 100yards...

      1. Its a combat rifle, not commercial one, 6-12 inch group at 100 yards or meters is acceptable. 2. I put a very thin piece of cork under my barrel with the mosin stock, and it helped with the accuracy. Went from 12 in to 6 in groups at 100 meters.

Used to shoot them with a Rem 222. Very accurate rifle, bolt action. :ar15:

      Rock Island 1911. Should I?

I have the basic GI model, shoots great. Eats any FMJ you feed it. Most times it will not rack a JHP when you put in a new mag. However they didn't shoot JHP in the issue 1911 back then.

      Louisiana, Mississippi carry.

Here in mississippi you can only ccw. It is against the law to open carry. It is legal to keep a gun in your vehicle conceled. The state considers your vehicle a extension of your home. :patriot:
