      Empty Holster at Work

      I get to work today and I see an employee in the assembly area working with an empty blackhawk serpa on his belt. Not sure why he would unholster gun to come into work, instead of removing holster and gun. Seems kind of crazy to me. Could end up with some unwanted attention from management. :dunno:

      I had to take a 6 hour class while living in SC to get permit. 4 hours spent going over mostly laws, and some gun safety, then 2 hours on the range. Was well worth it, especially for the laws of where and where not to carry. Was tuaght by a NRA certified guy. Also liked the license. It was...

      Bought a new G26 for myself today, early Christmas present. Only drawback was a 50 min wait for NICS on paperwork. Guy said it had been that way most of the week.

      He asked where it was. I told him on my right hip. He said "Let's keep it there". He handed back my LTCH, then went back to his car to write my speeding ticket. Never mentioned it again.

      I informed just once, the first time I was pulled over by NCPD, just after receiving my LTCH. But since joining INGO, I do not intend to again. :ingo: I mainly CC, because I am comfortable with it for having to do it for so long while living in SC.

      Would you be willing to take required training?

      I had to take a 4 hour class and a shooting skills test when I lived in SC to obtain my CCW. It was hard to believe some of the people in the class had never fired a gun. A couple even had trouble trying to load the mag. Scary!!
