      Yeah, looks like this is going to be more of a $800 build all said and done. Guess I was a little too optimistic. Definitely going with the 10.5.

      This will be a home defense gun as well as a "truck" gun. I travel 100 mi 1 way for work, and every 3rd day I'm away from home for 24hrs. This gun will come with me packed away in the go bag. 10.5" pistol makes sense to me for both purposes, but I don't want to rule out a basic carbine...

      check out 7.62 Tactical on Facebook. I've got a rig on order, should be in any day now. Custom tactical gear. Colin is the owner/maker, nice guy. Be prepared to wait a little, but I couldn't find a better price for quality gear, and he'll custom make it to how ever you want it.
