It's been about one year since I bought my first gun and joined this forum...

Looking good! You need to add a couple of AK-47s in there. If one is good, two must be better!

      .22 Pistol

I've been enjoying a Ruger SR22 pistol for quite a while now. I haven't had any problems with it, but I do clean it after every range trip or two. Before you run out and buy your new toy, can you find .22lr ammo? If so, where?

More sword than knife, but I do like this combo. Sword-pistol 'brandished by Lord Nelson' at Battle of Trafalgar goes up for auction | Mail Online

      entry level investment firearms

I don't really consider firearms or firearm accessories to be an investment that accrues a monetary value fast enough to be worthwhile. If you love firearms and want to collect, that's fine. If you're willing to buy a firearm and hold onto it for 20-40 years, you could just as easily put your...

      entry level investment firearms

If you're looking for something that will increase in value during the next "scare," take a look at loading up on high (normal) capacity magazines, or just any AK, AR, or SKS "assault rifle." Any mag over 10 rounds will have increased value, because 10 seems to be the target number for antis...

Good first handgun suggestions for someone with little experience???

I have an SR 22 that I enjoy very much and it's very fun to shoot. Just checking out a few sites, it looks like the price is about $290 to $350, depending on what style you get. And while I would also recommend that firearm... you're going to have trouble finding ammunition for it. The...

Good first handgun suggestions for someone with little experience???

You can rent firearms at Beech Grove Firearms, and I've seen people there getting on-range instruction. It's a very nice, clean range to shoot at. I'd check them out. Education & Safety If you have a friend or family member who enjoys firearms, see if they'll take you to the range to get...

I've been watching these for hours..

I'm curious too. Some things he shoots we can pretty well figure out what's going to happen, but every now and then I'm surprised at how well something does or doesn't work. Those are the videos that I really enjoy. Shotgun Wax Slugs' Physics Explained - Reverse Granular Impacts - YouTube...

      Should I buy a Mosin

I think it's a rite of passage for most firearm enthusiasts to own or have owned at least one mosin nagant at some point. So, yes, you should buy one.

      Ruger SR 22

I got my SR 22 early on when they came out, and it's been a pleasure to shoot. The trigger isn't as crisp as I would like, but for plinking, having a good time, and as a tool for new shooters to try out, it's been excellent.

      Mag Capacity

Somewhere between 5 and 15 rounds. For me, it's usually 15 9mm, carrying a Glock 19 IWB, or 5 .38spc, carrying a Ruger LCR in my pocket. (Sometimes both!) Okay, okay, maybe a Glock 26 IWB sometimes as well. If you're having trouble deciding what to carry, buy some of each, and carry them all...
