yeas i was. I dont see a problem with that at all. i mean really how often are legally obtained firearms or ones bought from a fellow member of the gun community like this used for crimes? i do not know but i promise its rarely.
I already have a 226 Legion SAO, debating on grabbing a 229 legion. Realistically the gimmicky marketing crap makes me not want the legion. Also i dont love the grey color. However i can buy a legion for 200 bucks more than a base 229 without the srt trigger so.
if youve never had a background check to buy a gun other than a lower i have to assume your buying used guns from private individuals or whoever your buying them from likes violating federal law.
The signess is bad. Just bought a P226 Legion and i mean literally just bought it. Already on the hunt for a 229 legion. Honestly not that into the legion marketing crap, just hard not to go that route for a 150 bucks price difference.
same place sales 9mm S&w sheilds everyday for $319 bucks most shops want $379-$409. They all scream overhead etc, but obviously it can be done. Most of them just want to make a killing off each sale.
they move a ton of them everyday at that price. Small shop to. they sale gold cups for 930 bucks or so. What it tells me is the typical markup we are all paying is ridiculous
Anyone that says colt 1911s suck doesnt own one. I own two both are great guns. Also the profit margin thing it could be that, but i bought my colt combat elite brand new for $856 bucks. They list at what 1200 and most shops sale them at 1099-1150 and im sure the shop i bought mine at didnt lose...
The Sig 320 has a MUCH nicer trigger but it is lighter without a safety. The DAK triggers are decent on the 226 and 229s as well again if you dont mind 40cal and a police trade in they are available cheap.
not sure where your located but ACME Sports in Seymour has some really clean police trade in P250s with all the box 3 mags night sites in both 40 and 9mm for $369
if i cant check the trigger out on a gun before the purchase. I wont purchase it. I think the few bucks one saves at the big box stores is not worth it. Simply put you get no expertise, advice, or service after the sale to save what 25 to 50 bucks.
im shocked its that high honestly. The funny part for the most part background checks arent going to stop a criminal from getting a firearm. They will just steal it or buy it illegally they are a criminal after all.
