I have a permit but rarely carry. the P229 Legion was going to be a carry gun, plus round out the Legion collection until the 220 is avail then id...

looking to add a new handgun or two prefer 9mm just because its cheap to shoot. like something unique in some way. have a couple 1911s, a glock, just bought a sig legion 226 sao. Was going to just buy the p229 legion to have the set but curious what you all would go after.

Help me better understand Sig P229 vs Sig M11-A1

well after much searching the difference is more like 400 bucks base 229 to legion. I can get a M11-a1 right in the middle of the two.

      The "Sig"ness- vol 1.

i understand this. When i say i dont see much difference im refrerring to the SRT trigger in a standard say 229 and the legion 229 which has the graysun trigger.

      The "Sig"ness- vol 1.

i havent felt the sao srt trigger. Im comparing the DA/SA srt vs legion DA/SA to me nearly if not identical.

      The "Sig"ness- vol 1.

im looking for a 229 for carry gun. thinking of going legion simply because its not that much more cost.

Im sure its been beat to death but LEGION worth it?

It is the finish that actaully makes me want a normal 229. I really do not care for the legion finish at all. The triggers quite honestly are not that good. If they are standard sig triggers must be terrible. SRT vs legion trigger honestly i dont think anyone would notice the difference. Now the...

Im sure its been beat to death but LEGION worth it?

to clarify i have no desire to sale the 226 SAO its being kept lol. Im considering dropping the coin to add a 229 legion. I tried to buy both when i bought the 226 but they were out of stock. Having trouble finding a 229 legion thats not overpriced. So considering alternatives.

      1911 9mm Recommendations

Found out you can get into a SIG for about 900 as well. Be hard to beat quality wise. I have two 1911s im in lawrence county but they are both 45s or id say she could shoot mine. Both of mine are colts though. Honestly i feel you get a better gun out of the springfield than the ruger but thats...

Im sure its been beat to death but LEGION worth it?

I own the Legion SAO its got a good trigger for what it is. But it isnt a 1911 trigger. Im stuck with the same debate i know i can pickup a brand new P229 for 825 or a legion for 1100. Makes it tough to choose the legion. I get some of the work done to its pricey, just not sure i want all that...

Why dont the gunshops carry colts?

I guess thats my point. Which would you rather have a Rock Island, or foreign made 1911, or the original. Im by no means saying colts are the best out there. I think they are certainly a top tier production gun though. Price wise when your not getting gouged they are very competitive. Because...

Help me better understand Sig P229 vs Sig M11-A1

They appear at first glance to be the same gun, one with a rail one without. Im sure there is much im messing ive only recently joined the Sig cult. I think ive read someplace the M11-A1 ships with the SRT trigger in it? No Rail, maybe one has a steel one an alloy frame? Looking for something...
