New toy made it to Beech Grove Firearms.

Thanks for the info. Looks like it should be anytime now based on your experience. I'm registering mine by way of a trust which I understand speeds the process and allows your to bypass some of the "red tape" including the LEO sign-off. Otherwise I have been told to expect a 9+ month wait...

Man carries AR15 in city for protection

I'm very pro second amendment, BUT You have the right to freedom of speech but that doesn't mean you can yell fire in a crowded theatre. The same applies here, I think it just going too far. Why give the media any more firepower.

New toy made it to Beech Grove Firearms.

KJQ6945, when did you order this from BGF and how long did it take for it to arrive to their shop? How long did your tax stamp take (6 MO)? Ordered mine in early Dec. and has not arrive to the shop yet.

      Ruger 10/22 sling recommendation

I would recommend the 1" or 1 1/4" GI web sling from the Tech Sights website. Also recommended by Project Appleseed Cheap and good quality I would not use the stud that attaches to the barrel band. The band is usually too loose. Just use the screw in type with some epoxy.

Didn't see much of anything that was a bargain. Suprise Suprise, EXCEPT I did pick up a new Bersa BP9cc for $ 360.00 which is about $25 less than I've ever seen one anywhere locally in a shop. Have been reading really good reviews of this new single stack nine from Bersa so I'm ready to give it...

      Looking for 5.56 / .223 ???

Those of you looking for 5.56 or .223 ammo. Check Cabelas online daily. I've been checking daily and found this morning Federal 5.56 in 20 ct boxes. Given the current insanity the price was really good at $ 9.99 each. Was able to purchase a bulk quantity. It was sold out within a couple...

      Thinking of getting an AK-47

DTeknic VZ58 You will always find a lot of varying opinions and the diehard AK guys tend to downplay the VZ58 because is uses proprietary parts but the reality is that all of the parts are available and the gun has many advantages over the AK. I agree with the previous post regarding the...

      Thinking of getting an AK-47

Czech VZ58 was my choice Obviously pushing your budget a little but worth the extra couple hundred bucks and is still less that an milled Arsenal AK. The VZ58 was only made in a milled receiver and is available from only two sources (that I am aware of) so it simplifies the confusion when your...
