What company did you decide on for the 1911? Obviously an original is ideal but price wise just not viable. I've been looking into Tisas lately for a nice representation of one.
I have a 1944 dated Norwegian Krag in 6.5 Swede. Built for the Germans during occupation, it is stamped as such (see pictures), and falls in the serial block range for the last 600 rifles built during the war (SN# NC 627). Unsure of when it was sporterized. Has some wear but action is smooth...
Beautifully done! If you were to show me those pictures and said they were two different ones you had for sale, I would definitely choose the refinished one assuming all else was equal between them. Nicely done!
Very cool, didn't realise that was one of the 7.35s. Also never knew about their folding bayo, was it only built for the 7.35s? I now have to try and find one, seems like my work will be cut out for me.
I missed out on 2 maks about 3 years ago for $200 a piece, they were in ok shape, not great but not terrible either. Great price to find one for these days, I can't seem to find any under $400 when I see them
Ferrari fan here, you can imagine how I feel most weeks, last year especially. I haven't been able to catch any races this year but still, my disappointment is immeasurable.
Hoosierdood is right, 2x8 is enough and I would put the money I could towards the SSD more than anything. Especially if you're making it the travel computer. I wouldn't mess with overclocking either, just means more heat and laptops already have atrocious cooling no matter the brand.
Welcome, I'm just up the road from Vevay, gf works there actually. Southeastern Indiana Outdoors will be your local gunshop though he doesn't carry many/any guns. Does transfers and has a decent selection of ammo though. General outdoor supplies too.
