      Yep, I have a muzzleloader. May just use it from now on during the firearms season. On the other hand, I now have a convenient excuse to buy a new gun. :rolleyes:

      Thanks all and keep the ideas coming...I'm laid up for a while so I have nothing better to do than research all these cool guns. Right now I'm intrigued by the 1894C. More later.

      I think I'll probably go with a .44 mag or .357 mag. I'd like to start a list of possible guns and, since I know nothing about them I would like your help. I'm aware of the Handi-Rifle, the Marlin lever gun and the Ruger, which, I believe is a bolt-action. Any other suggestions welcome.

      Need something for CC. What's Best?

      I ended up with a J-Frame. S&W 642. May not be as sexy as some of the others but I like the inherent reliability, no safety and if you have a mis-fire just squeeze the trigger again.

      At this point I'm leaning toward the .44 mag. Marlin, Ruger or Handi-Rifle. My muzzleloader is a NEF Huntsman. The H&R/NEF guns are a LOT of bang for the buck IMO. Thanks sll.

      Carrying to work, but not at work

      Hopefully the law will be changed soon so we can leave our guns in our cars while parked on the employer's lot whether they like it or not.
