OK.. after an overnight bath in the cleaner (Simple Green) this is what I have now, a clean bank of carbs to start with..

I started with the carbs, why, well because when I open up the master cylinder to look, I saw this! I don't even know what the hell this is?, a mixture of water, fluid, and IDK??

I just thought I would share my latest project, I’ve got a 37 year old motorcycle that I picked up a few weeks ago (cheep!)
As is (not running) but it did run the last time the owner tried it, (17 years ago).. Or at least that’s what I told. Regardless, I’m going to perform a total...
First and foremost sir, for this outstanding build, I award you the highest honor I know. I have only given this out twice..
I know how long that took, I know how hard you worked and how much you enjoyed it along the way.. An outstanding example of a dedicated builder.. Great job sir...
These parts only took me, on average.. about 45 to 1 hr each

I just thought that since I’m doing tons of metal polishing now, (alum, brass, stainless, steel, etc), I would throw this down thread just incase anyone was curious on how polish up old oxidized, rusted metal’s to (near new).
