Updating for posterity, I ended up going with the Jolene S. Honestly, a large part of the choice was availability - I backordered the polo 30 for 6 weeks, got tired of that, and just bought the Jolene S straight up. Also, the reviews were a bit better for subs.
Nope, it'll just live on that rifle! Maybe I'd think about putting it on a 5.56 rifle in the future? But that's not certain or happening any time soon.
And yep, I agree. Definitely want to be able to shoot both subs and sups. I was originally looking at the Rugged Obsidian 9, but the subs-only limitation wasn't gonna work.
Hey folks, I'd appreciate any thoughts about picking a suppressor. I'm build an AR in 300 blk, 9" barrel, pistol length gas block. I'd rather not mess with an AGB, but I will if I have to. I did pick up a Radian Raptor-SD, hoping that helps. Plan is to shoot both subs and supers through the...
Just FYI that some Range USAs won't rent a gun to your if it's your first time. IDK how much this policy is enforced, but that's what's on paper. I happen to like the Range USA in Indy quite a bit, but ymmv
I finally said "screw it" and bought my first lever gun, a Henry 22. It was the cheapest model, the H001. Gonna clean it up and take it to the range this week, but just checking it out at home, I love the feel of it. Very ergonomic, the lever feels sturdy, and not gonna lie, I feel cool as hell...
I picked one of these up and I seriously dig it. Only issue is one of my mags doesn't feed well. The spring is stiff and the follower seems to move through the mag with a ton of friction. Any idea what I can do about that? I tried giving it a good cleaning and using some spray silicone to...
I have a primary arms mini reflex on my PSA dagger and it keeps coming loose every 100-200 rounds. I've tried putting blue loctite on the threads, but that didn't seem to help. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?
I finally bought a taurus tx22! Quite a bit of fun. However, one of my mags has constant feeding issues. Tried to DIY a fix and failed, waiting for taurus to get back to me on a service request.
I think I probably will buy the tx22. Been sitting on it for a while. I probably wouldn't buy a taurus for a self-defense gun, but for a range trainer at that price, may as well.
Maybe I'm worrying too much, but a recall just doesn't look great for them, and they were already kinda known for qc issues. Am I worrying too much lol
tbh any rough rider is strictly for laughs for me. My fiance says I can't get one unless it's <$100 which pretty much means i'm stuck waiting for a rebate on the 4 or 6 inch models
