It's a CZ 455 in a MDT XRS chassis. It has all the plastic internals replaced with DIP aluminum, has a Area 419 30mm rail, Seekins rings, and a Vortex PST Gen II 5-25. The suppressor is a Q El Camino.
The only other automatic firearm I've shot was an MP5 I was issued about fifteen years ago. It was pretty manageable. It had three round burst, which I liked. We went to semi-auto ARs later and I don't miss the MP5 at all.
I've fired one with a switch on it and it wasn't particularly controllable. I think with a lot of practice, it could become manageable. I just didn't know what to expect at all and then the magazine was empty. The second mag was slightly better after I knew what was coming.
It depends on what the weapon charges were. The article doesn't specify. It could be some other mundane thing like selling a printed frame or something. If it was a charge for some sort of violence with a firearm, then I agree with you.
I use them a lot and like them. I initially just bought a small kit when Fix It Sticks were a new brand. I add to it occasionally. In my opinion they make an awesome tool kit that happens to be extremely small.
