      Really want another 686.

I had a no lock 686 with the 2.5" barrel. Really wanting another 686. I really like the looks of the 686 Plus Deluxe. 3" barrel. Don't need it. Just miss having a .357 I really like the looks of the 3" with the wood grips. I understand that S & W quality might have slipped a bit but still...

Field & Streem 50 Best guns ever

A little light on the handgun side of things. Maybe they should have done a separate list.

      Deal alert! Freedom Ordnance FX-9.

Hey all. Deal alert. Mods, if this isn't allowed feel free to delete. I wasn't sure. I have no relationship to these guys. Just happened to see this. Website shows a FX-9 pistol, 10 mags and a foregrip for $667.50. Normally $829.00. They ran this a while back but it ended quickly. I...

      Thoughts on weapons lights?

I do believe the Harries technique is a valid option. I learned that back in the big Maglight flashlight days.

      Thoughts on weapons lights?

Good points. My thought is that IN law might say something about pointing a loaded gun at someone. Which in my scenario would initially be done to train my flashlight on a perceived threat. I dunno'. Just curious.

      Thoughts on weapons lights?

I was thinking about the aspect that if I use the WM light to identify someone, now I am basically pointing my muzzle at them. I know the WML in general isn't an issue.

      Thoughts on weapons lights?

Been wrestling with this question. Of course I believe in the need for a weapon mounted light for home defense but what about my "truck" gun. I know I am within my rights on my own property but what do I run into if I use a weapons mounted light to light an area like a parking lot in a self...

Bought a Kel Tec Sub 2k.

No offense taken. Just thought I would add to the story to let people know why I let it go so quickly. And I am happy to be a site supporter.

Bought a Kel Tec Sub 2k.

OP here. I did move on. It didn't take me long to figure out that the irons weren't going to work for me and my old eyes and bifocals. I could have gone the sight-mount add on route but decided to move it along and try something else. I had never owned one and I was curious. I went to an S...

WTS: Kel Tec Sub 2k Gen 2 plus accessories. Like new! $350.00 *SPF*

Like new Kel Tec Sub 2k. Gen 2. I bought it used and have not fired it. I was told it had only seen one range trip and it looks like it. Basically looks unfired. It comes with 4) Magpul Glock 17 mags. (these appear to have been used a little more but are fine). A nice little case...

Bought a Kel Tec Sub 2k.

Update to my original post: I bought this Sub 2k without having been able to handle it. I bought it online and picked it up. I haven't been able to get it to the range but doing some initial handling and sighting I don't think I am going to get along with this thing. I wear progressive lens...

Bought a Kel Tec Sub 2k.

Saw a barely used one at a reasonable price so I picked it up. (Glock 17 Gen 2 Version) I have always been curious about these things so I guess I will find out what they are like. I know what to expect pretty much. Already going to upgrade a few things like rear sight, buffer tube cover...

      Holy crap!!! My first suppressor!

      Holy crap!!! My first suppressor!

So I finally got the e-mail today that my Silencerco Sparrow had been approved. I told my boss I had to leave early and got my butt to the LGS to pick it up. Tried it out tonight. This is the first time I have EVER fired a firearm with a can. I put it on my Ruger 22/45 Lite and holy crap...
