I'm a Ruger SR9C, or Walther P99/PPQ.
I am really just kinda trying to keep an eye out and see what I can find. The only reason Im thinking Texas is because I have a trip coming up and last time I was down the local gun shops had some pretty sweet deals.
Sounds like I would also have to pay shipping and an Indiana FFL fee which is around $40. So if I did it would likely end up costing me close to $80 just to get it into my possession.
Is that true/about right?
The thought came up the other day, I picked up a pistol then stopped at a gas station. I had no where on my person to keep it as I didn't also pick up a holster or anything and it wasn't going to fit in my pocket in a nice way. It wasn't a huge deal, I was just thinking I should really have...
exactly this
Ive been in deep enough to consider an under seat box submerged a few times, but so far have been lucky enough to get the top up in time for downpours but.. Its a jeep it will get wet
Aaahhh Didnt see the jeepers thread, my search fu failed me.
Ive had my Jeep for years and generally just don't keep anything in it I would be pissed to lose. Im getting ready to purchase my first pistol and in driving around with friends and theirs it kinda dawned on me I should be looking into...
Just curious if anyone here is also into Jeeps. I generally tend to be topless and doorless as often as possible and am contemplating a good way to keep my guns locked in it while I'm out and about. Figured I would see what others have done.
I specifically went with someone who said "I hate Ruger autos" to try and get an overly critical point of view on it. His first shot with it was a dead center and he went... huh
I walked away with his approval and no downsides.
So this afternoon I borrowed Paco's SR9C and took it out and shot it along side a Glock 19. Im kinda in love. Right off the bat first shot was dead on target, it felt completely natural, the trigger behaved as I expected it to and I was able to shoot fairly accurately. I shot the Glock 19 as...
I'm on the north side of ft wayne. Can anyone recommend a good range? I've been to freedom a couple of times and the tend to rub me the wrong way and seem a little high on pricing
I've seen them go in the market place here for 325-350 too which is totally doable with my current pistol fund. I just need to shoot it and a couple others like the CZ first.
