      Glock Gen 5 ... I got mine!

      I like the changes Glock made for this gun, but is it enough for me to trade in my Gen 3 guns? No, not at all. I'd also like to wait to make sure all the kinks are worked out before I think about getting one.

      What firearm did you purchase that was a waste of your money

      Taurus 24/7 G2. It had the worst trigger I've ever used, it was heavy, high bored, and just an all around bad purchase. I sold it and bought a Glock.

      Union Belle refuses to holster. Thoughts?

      To me that is just dangerous and the excuse that she's always done it that way definitely doesn't add a layer of protection it's just laying a trap of over confidence. At least something simple like a kydex trigger guard holster would be a vast improvement.

      What's in your concealed carry line up?

      I carry a CZ P07 urban grey edition in a custom Valor Defense kydex IWB holster. It's a bit large sometimes (think Glock 19 size), but I just don't care for anything smaller.

      Even though I'm not to 50 yet, I think it's good this way; it makes us read the forums and be involved instead of just treating this site like GunBroker.

      Do you carry at home?

      Like many others, I take mine off when I get home, however I do have guns hidden strategically all over the house so I can have one in hand in a few seconds. I definitely understand the reasoning behind why people do, but I'm also usually wearing gym shorts at home which won't really support a gun.

      She may not be suing yet, but something tells me she is going to have a very comfortable retirement. But seriously, I love our police officers and 99% of the time would back them up, but in this case he needs to go.

      The CZ P07 is a good option, it has the size of a Glock 19 and there are several options such as extended magazines, threaded barrel, etc.

      What do you like to slip your glock into (holsters)

      Custom Built Kydex Holster from Valor Defense. Retention and fit is great with one having traditional belt loops and the other running the bladetech teklok system. For OWB it can't be beat in my opinion.

      Saving $ Loading 9mm

      I definitely am saving money on pistol ammo, but the truly big savings is if you reload match rifle cartridges. I can reload 168 grain Sierra MatchKing Rounds for around $0.60 whereas it would be over $1.00 per round from Federal. It's also a fun and interesting hobby.

      Check out Valor Defense on Facebook. Jason built me a holster just like you're looking for, for my Glock 21 and he's based out of Ferdinand, Indiana. Prices are extremely affordable/fair for the quality.

      I use Valor Defense holsters out of Ferdinand, Indiana. Jason does great work and he has the best prices by far on kydex holsters ($40 for OWB). He can build you something as simple or extreme as you want. Check them out on Facebook.

      Gun belt options

      Not sure if you are wanting a regular belt or a duty belt, but I'm using the 5.11 Sierra Bravo Duty Belt and love it so far. It's very rigid and since it is a dual belt set up you can take off the gear belt with ease.

      For my 18" 1/8 twist AR I'm using 24.5 grains of CFE 223 with 68 grain FMJBT Hornaday Match bullets.

      I would just go ahead and keep it. I saved my brass for years before I started to reload and now that I do it has eliminated the biggest expense to reloading.       Hearing Protection Act reintroduced

      I'm hoping it passes, but I'm not optimistic hence why I went ahead and put in the paperwork for my Hybrid. Out of anything I'll have my stamp back before it passes.
