      REMINGTON 1911R1 ANYONE?

      If I wanted a 1911 I wouldn't buy anything until the plethora of anniversary 1911's come out next year might be some interesting options and the plain ones if you don't like them will certainly drop.

      9mm vs 40 cal

      I read a good ballistic history report about 10 years ago with a lot of supporting evidence. There was no 45 caliber ammunition that was produced before 1980 that would out perform a modern 9mm produced today. I'm sure modern 45's, 40's, with modern ammo may have more stopping power then...
